Melky Cabrera
i think Girardi really needs to sit Melky or figure out what to do with him. every time i see him step to the plate i think out and that should not be happening. on top of that he is 0 for his last 18 or so and Girardi has him hitting with a runner on first and no outs in the bottom of the 9th today?! i couldn't believe that and so far i am truly disappointed by Girardi's managing. one last note, i still don't see Joba being worth moving to the rotation... yes he has pitched well maybe 1 or 2 games (one against the pirates) but other than that he lasts 5 innings and thats just terrible to see. terrible last few games has got me on a tear of our team and coaching and its just awful to see a $200 million lineup do absolutely nothing against a team ERA of 5.80 or so and a pitcher like O. Perez.

I'm with you on Melky
but I couldn’t disagree more on Joba. He should most definitely should be a starter.
I was not in favor of hiring Girardi back in November, but the organization made their decision, so he’s not going anywhere for awhile – especially not after Torre was treated at the end of his tenure.

Melky Cabrera
Melky has been over-rated from the start. Bernie Williams was putting up stellar numbers compared to the ones Melky has this year and the Yankee faithful were calling for a change …...
Girardi was, is, and will always be a mistake. The Yankess are an American League team – a little National League small ball makes sense once in a while. The last two days Girardi has shown that he doesn’t know when to play for a run.
BTW – The Dogers are 1 1/2 out and have (3) of their stars on rehab assignments. Torre just keeps his teams in the hunt – no matter what the circumstances.
