Split
The Mets scored 15 runs.
The Yankees scored 15 runs.
That's a lot of baseball, and we'll do it again tomorrow at 4.
MLB schedule makers, I hope you get a good night's sleep cause while you're asleep I'll be in the driveway slashing your tires.

Go figure
How is it possible that the Yanks won 9-0 over Pedro Martinez in a game which Sidney Ponson and Kei Igawa combined for 7 innings?

lol
Hey… I’ll take it…
the truth is Ponson was hitting 94+ on the gun and was throwing that curveball for strikes enough that he was effective…. no way am I counting on him to do that again… but Carlos delgado can hit BP fastballs out over the plate, but couldnt touch the harder in on his hands stuff he saw in the second game
check out this analysis I did here

and
to be on the subways in NYC today. What a joy that was. The heat the crowds the bedlam…
usually people who have never been to a game (mets or yankees) just follow the crowds on the subway…
...today no one knew if you were coming or going and the directions to tourists to just “follow the crowd of people in jerseys” wasn’t working.
Joy.
