World Team Roster
Jesus is the Yankees' lone representative at this year's Future's Game.
There's a twist in that this year's American team is Olympic Team USA.

Is he ...
a legitimate 5-tool type player who can hit the curve.
I’m tired of the Yankees PR machine filling our heads with visions of the next Gehrig, Mantle and DiMaggio. If this Jesus cat is all that, I wanna’ see his statline. I wanna’ see some video. I want proof before I believe!

We won't know
until he gets out of single A.
5 tool? Not really, he’s a catcher, so don’t expect him to be much of a runner; though, Matsui shows us you don’t have to be fast to be a smart baserunner.
We’ve discussed this before- he’s super young so he’s super projectable. And Montero has legendary power. But, like you, I won’t get excited until he finishes a season in Trenton in 2010 or so.
