Greatest Baseball Catch Ever?

A  friend of mine sent this video to me yesterday, and after viewing it numerous times, I'm was in awe.

Today I discovered the "catch" was a fake--a very good, and convincing fake that is worthy of taking a look.

I am going to stop using FanShots

As you will see if you look, I posted this yesterday. After thinking about it I added the comment that it had to be a fake.

Because they are so low on the page no one looks at them unless they’re front paged. Not even the moderators.

Still it is a fun fake.

I saw yours yesterday

Unfortunately, FanShots are kind of buried and there’s really nothing we can do about it.

There are some widgets we can move around, but there are a handful that we can’t. FanShots, FanPosts, and team records/standings happen to be among them.

Thanks

Traffic on the site is light anyway. It doesn’t feel good to talk to no one.

One of the suggestions I've made

to the higher ups is that “Fan Posts” (the standard text diary) should be another template of “Fan Shots”. Then you’d have all the commenter entries in the same location at the top of the blog in the right hand border.

I think you should just embed any pictures, video, etc directly into your fanposts so we’ll all see them.

A light day

No one is in the mood to talk … I figured “what the heck.” Hope no one was bothered by the post. I mean, it wasn’t “hard” Yankee news like Pavano might be back in August.
