maybe he’s feeling more freedom from the Yes propagandists.

one of the few things I got out of Living on the Black was that umps really like Moose. They feel like he never shows them up, but we always worry about him staring in. Sterling described it last inning; I guess it must be ok.

Keep Damon in the lineup
there’s no reason to sit him when he’s one of the few Yankees hitting right now. He’ll get his days off when he cools off.
He’s up to .288 now.

I have to agree
Though I still think I’d run out a lineup of Damon-Abreu-Jeter-Matsui-Melky-Giambi-Ensberg-Cano-Molina for the next week.

One more Moose thought
from that book: the reason Moose preferred throwing to Nieves/Molina is because they’re littler guys and can set him a lower target. We’ve seen a couple DPs and some more weak grounders today- do you think it could that simple for a cerebral guy like Moose?

but sometimes heavier guys seem shorter than they are so maybe he’s taller.
I think Jose has got to have at least 20 lbs on Jorge. Jorge is in phenomenol shape. Other than that shoulder.
