Jorge or the Voice of God?

Whose return will be a bigger deal in the Bronx?

The switch-hitting catcher with the questionable throwing arm is expected back in the Bronx next Thursday or Friday

The legendary PA annoucer, whose first game involved Mikey Mantle playing right field in deference to some guy from San Francisco, aims to be back in the booth by the All-Star Break.

Jorge will be good offensively; Sheppard will be good karmically.  Which is more important?

Can Sheppard hit?

I’ve heard that despite being 98 years old, the dude can still rake. I say we give him #99 and let him swing the maple.

I can't vote.

I would equate this poll to chosing a favorite offspring.

Happy to see them both back equally.

This is a dumb poll. I adore them both. Why would I vote for one over the other? I am abstaining unless I vote for both.

Though if it comes down to an extra innings game and one person is left in the pen and his name is LaTroy Hawkins, put in Bob Sheppard.

Count this

as one more sign that things are a bit rough for the boys in pinstripes: In a match up of an All-Star catcher versus pixie dust from a fossil, the pixie dust is polling 25%.
