Tabata Suspended for Pulling a Sosa

Caught this over at My Pinstripes:
The Yankees front office won't talk about it and neither will the Trenton Thunder management. Mike Ashmore, who covers the Thunder, says that Jose Tabata was apparently suspended for one game after an incident that occurred on April 27. Having struck out, Tabata slammed his bat, went into the clubhouse, and apparently left.

Though it was a one game suspension, manager Tony Franklin sat the 19-yr old prized prospect until last night's game. His return was less than triumphant as he went 0-3.
Now, Ashmore's post actually says that he heard this from a commenter, and that the FO won't discuss the situation.

Still, this explains why Tabata hasn't been in right field...

Tabata

played lst night and went 0-4 with1 strikeout, dropping his average to .191.

In this game, Daniel McCutchen went 7 complete giving up all 5 runs in a 5-4 loss. McCutchen gave up 10 hits (only 1 walk) and struck out 8. McCutchen is a true bulldog in every sense of the word and is perfect for the Yankees. Right now.
He was drafted with Kennedy and Joba, is 26 years old and comes right at hitters with a here it is, try and hit it mentality.
The man who relieved him last night and threw a perfect 8th is David Robertson, he of the devastating curveball and career minor league K’s/9 ratio of 13.0. Built like Billy Wagner this righty was the U. of Alabama closer his sophomore year and is also ready for NY. Taken in the same 2006 draft with Kennedy, Joba and McCutchen.
The Chris Britton bullpen types are a dime a dozen.
Lets use both guys right now.

McCutchen

was due for a cluncker after his three previous starts, 21 IP, 11H, 3BB and 20K. He’s also pitching on IPK’s night…

Robinson Cano’s hitting camp in the winter, Tabata, angered over his .191 BA grabbed his stuff and went in search of Cano to demand a refund.

McCutchen's outing...

really can not be considered a clunker. Although a few balls were hit hard, one run was scored on a bloop single. While he likely did not have his best stuff, he kept pounding away in the strike zone and gave his team 7 solid innings.
He is ready now.
McCutchen gave Joba his first ever loss at Nebraska going 9 full innings, throwing 137 pitches. So we know he is durable.
