Yankee Stadium Tour and Tickets
Hey everyone,
I have never been to Yankee Stadium and am planning on going this summer to add it to my list of stadiums before it's torn down
I wanted to go on the tour on July 8th, but they are sold out. Does anyone know any tricks or tips that I can try so I can get on the tour? I really don't want to miss out on a YS tour, so any help/tips would be greatly appreciated!
Also, since tickets for the 8th and 9th are sold out, I am scalping a ticket. I don't want to spend a lot of money, and the prices look like that means staying in the upper deck. My question is what's best, and what should I avoid?
Any advice or assistance with my questions would be fantastic!
Thank You!

I myself
am also planning a trip to NY for a Yankee game in late June – on top of Guru’s question – being that I’ve never been to NY or have family there – what would be a good city to get a hotel in? We wanted to see the game, and do some “tourist-like” things around the city as well. Any suggestions??

haha ya right
We already forked over enough to get 8 seats behind the visitors dugout….110/night is in our budget for hotel.
Thanks for the Manhattan idea – I think thats probably where we’ll end up…

$110 a night
might get you a soup kitchen.

If you stay in NJ to save money leave PLENTY of time to get across the river
driving toeard the stadium on game days is a total nightmare.

But if you're ok
with arriving a couple of hours early and playing wiffle ball in the parking lot, it’s an easy drive.

You might want to check out
the Woodlawn section of the bronx. Its easy to get on the Deegan. Woodlawn is also the terminal for the 4 train so you can hop on that to the stadium, too.
