Winning series is something we talk about as the season progresses.  Well it's not too soon to start the talk.  So, from that pint of view tonight is a big game.

It is also a big game because things will be easier for Phil Hughes if he can get off to a good start.

It is important for the team to not start another season by getting way behind as they have in recent years.

Still, the main reason I am writting is to urge calm and to say I'm enjoying the baseball.  Like the mighty Casey of poetry we got our big guy a chance to pull the game out in the 9th.

Opening night was fun and exciting.  Game 2 was slow as the J's pitching, primarily Burnett was too much for us.  I am confident that this team will hit.  I like what I have seen from the pitching.  I think I saw a lot of life on Moose's ball.  The relievers looked ok.

I do not see how 7 runs given up in 2 games, 6 earned, is grounds for anything but optimism.  I read what Ronster said about Moose.  I'm a little more optimistic.
