PrintI found this listed on the MLB Transactions page for March 24, 2008 at the Worldwide Leader. Looks like someone has engaged in a little tomfoolery or there's some kind of goofy bug on the network.
There's a rather distasteful but creative joke in there somewhere, but I'll leave that up to your imagination.
The same listing also happens to mention that the Yanks have acquired Felix Heredia via waivers from Cincinnati - a transaction that did indeed occur......on August 25, 2003.
