I've been checking out the spring training games on YES and Cody looks pretty good so far this spring. He's a big kid as an infielder with some power. While being part of Houston's AAA Round Rock Express...
...he batted .263 in 134 games and led the Express in home runs (28) and RBI's (90)
He's a long shot to make the squad, but Ransom definitely opened Girardi's eyes at this point.

AAAA guy.
ahem, he's 32 and has all of 160 Major league PA under him to a tune of 81 OPS+ AAAA journey man. nothing to really see here but ok depth insurance.
