Red Sox outbid...?

Sportscenter just reported breaking news that the Red Sox owner, Henry, said the Red Sox are no longer a factor for the Tex bid.  They do not have all the news except that perhaps they may have been outbid.

That's all fine and dandy with me.  If the Yankees are not going to get him, I prefer he go anywhere but the Red Sox, perhaps the Yankees ; ) haha I doubt it, but it remains to be seen.

It smells like a ploy, but it is the season for miracles…

Couldn't agree more.

When Tex signs with CA or DC, I’ll finally believe the Sux are out of it. New Englanders are a wiley bunch … Remember Paul Revere and the whole one if by land deal? They put out some good music in the late 60s, and they are rarely mentioned these days.

Tex

I would not even mind if he went over to the National league to Washington ? You are problaby right the Angels will sign him.

Tex

Hey Tex is a good player but to my knowledge has never won anything. Plus let the sox spend the money. They are not the team of 3 years ago and Big Poppy is sliding. Plus pitching wise they have some questions still. If they sign Tex someone on sox has to sit. Both Lowe and Yuks numbers have been close to Tex., What are you really adding???

Scott Borus Wants More

As usual, Scott Borus is playing teams against each other. What I heard is that Boston, Angels, and Baltimore have all offered $160 M for Tex. Borus wants the bidding to go to $195M. Don’t count the Red Sox out at $160 yet. That might be all Tex gets.
