#3 batter hole

PrintWe desperately need a #3 hitter. Tex is too expensive and rumors have him concerned about the Jeter / A-rod dynamic in the clubhouse. So where does that leave the Yanks? Matsui? Not too crazy about that. He is better in the 5 hole.
I think we need Abreu back. He is a solid #3 batter and a all around good player. Plus he performs in NY.
Any other #3 batters out there?
Please, please, please, Yanks do not get Manny.
