While a few possible players outside the major markets have surfaced as possibilities for the stars (Baltimore and Seattle for Teixeira, and Milwaukee for Sabathia), interviews with GMs suggest that an L.A. versus N.Y. showdown remains possible for all three monster free agents.

I think the Yanks' interest in Manny is (and should be) tepid. I could see the Angels inking Manny as the missing piece to dominance of the AL West, while the Mets will want the big splash to deal with Phillies-envy.
The Angels will make an offer to Tex, but everything I've heard suggests that he's headed to the East Coast (NYC or Baltimore).
