Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Question for a Photo

Hi,

I will start off by saying I have been in SBNation for awhile, but not with Pinstripe Alley.  Im a graduate student at SIU-Carbondale, a die hard Stl Fan, and consider myself a knowledgeable baseball fan.  If the editor/writers feel like deleting this post, by all means go ahead.

I have a question about a past Reggie Jackson photo and that I have been searching for the past few days.  I swear I've seen a picture of Reggie in the middle of a crowd of photographers and fans with a large "protest" type sign.  What I mean by protest is that the sign is on a stick and the sign is about 4x4ft in size.  On the sign it simply says, "Hi, I'm Reggie Jackson".  I think the picture is hilarious and some of my friends don't believe me.  I believe I saw it on a Sportscentury episode a year or so ago, but with my dead end in searching, I've almost convinced myself that I saw it on "The Bronx is Burning".

I know this isn't anything important to you guys, but this is just killing me.  Can anybody tell me if they remember seeing this picture too? If they can, can you point me in the right direction to get it or just put a link on the response for me?  Once again, this community feels like deleting this, go right ahead. Im in the midwest so I doubt I'll hunt you down.  Thanks. Steve.

Reggie Sign

Soon after the 77 World Series Reggis was a guest on “The Love Boat”. He played himself and the story revolved around him and his friend Isaac Washington the ships bartender (Ted Lange). The running “joke” was Isaac would introduce him to the crew and passengers but nobody would believe that he was Reggie Jackson. So near the end of the trip he walks around with a sign that says “Hi, I AM Reggie Jackson” or something similar. Then finally everyone crowded around him.

I hope you can relax now Steve.
