ST. JOE BLOW ANOTHER ONE!

Aggggggggghhh Thats ny gut feeling. I had vowed to stay away but this man is going to kill me.How in the world after Posada homers and Fansworth and Rivera pitch their guts out does he dare to pitch Henn. Henn? Why? What has he done ever? While Ramires and the great Joba rest. Why Why? The Angels own us and the reason is Joe Torre. With this kind of managing WE DONT DESERVE TO WIN.Agggggggggh.

He obviously
doesn't know the Joba "really protecting from Torre" rules and that Edwar pitched 2 innings sunday

You beat me to it
I wrote out my reasons to blame Joe in the other thread that was already posted about what happened last night.  Not using Joba and Edwar are not valid reasons.

ok
Ladies and gentlemen it has become obvious to me that you like to lose. We are in a pennant chase. Are players oh so delicate these days that they may not must not be used in a pinch. Hell, El Duque is like a 100 years old and would have come in and done the job. This sounds like losers talk. Are these players men or mice. Are they delicate little flowers that break easily. I think not.
Torre lacks the will and sometimes the intelligence to command such a great team. He had it once and now he seems lost. When you tie a game and then give up. Come on! You have no idea how infuriating this is. If it doesn't make you mad then you are just not a TRUE FAN.

Um
you may not have noticed the 100+ comments in the other thread we've dedicated to this issue.
Several of us are quite worked up over this.
Even those of us who are not especially upset still qualify as 'TRUE FAN[s]'.

OK
Yes you may be a True Fan and this is not direct it at anyone in particular just the notion of resting pitchers in a pennant chase, but man I just have to vent  how is it that the damn Angels have our number. I wonder what other bone head tactics are gonna get us a loss today. I know that St. Joe loves his young arms and wants to protect them from catching cold, but hey a pennant chase is a chase. All hands on deck!!! You gotta see my frustation.

I'd rather have a healthy Joba
for the next decade than a post-season appearance this year.

They are doing the right thing with Joba.

Dont get me wrong
Hate to see Joba hurt, however Torre has got to have some sense of who is a stopper and who is not. Henn is not. The Angels are a real pest and they need "special" handling. I think that for that we need the right mix of Joba, Edwar, Mariano and Viz, could be a big payoff. I am looking foward to the expansion in September maybe we can see some more pitching talent come up and ease the burden of the pen.

Torre's pen choices were limited last night
so I can't really tar and feather him for it.

As others have stated, Joba was unavailable last night.

Ramirez was also unavailable because he pitched 2 innings on Sunday.

It was Villone or Henn.  He chose Henn.

Nothing more you can do when your best options are unavailable.

I'd feel a lot better if Britton was on the club instead of Henn.

I agree
Britton would have been better. And why did Bruney go? He was 2-1 32 ks in 42 innings. I would have rather seen Bruney in there if Joba or was not available.

Bruney was sent packing
because he couldn't throw strikes and Torre didn't trust him.

I think that was the right move as well.  He needed to go down and learn to throw strikes again.

He'll be back in September - which is now just 11 days away.

St. Joe
tends to be like that hope that before the 11 days are over we are not too far to catch the Sox. Moose is up lets see if he brings it today.
