What happened Andrew Brackman? What is his projection for this year, and why is he still unsigned? When is his ETA?

Good deal by the Yankees. They have Betimit instead Eric Duncan or...er...Miguel Cairo to fill in for A-Rod if he walks, and it solidifies their bench big time.

Like Steve Karsay, Proctor's "circle of trust" gold membership has somewhat declined, and he will need a new arm because he pitches so much.

He was at the peak of his value.

No news on Brackman

It's a complicated issue with him being signed for above slot dollars, but the commissioner's office wants the Yanks to sign him for less. It's stupid, it's pointless, but the bottom line is that we won't be hearing about any signings until we get closer to August 15.

I only hope

that he waits to have his TJ surgery until after the 15th because you know once Cashman hears those magic words he will get all giddy and throw a couple of million more into the deal.
