Around SBN: Tiger Woods, Tony Romo Grouped Together At Pebble Beach

Sun up in the east? Check. Pavano hurt again? Of course!

Torre on WFAN. Pavano has soreness in his forearm and will be skipped tomorrow. Rasner will go instead. So Mussina, Wang and now Pavano not including Karstans. Yay for starting the season in the northeast.

More news. Wang is going to pitch in Tampa tomorrow and again on Thursday. If both of those go well he may rejoin the team.

Luckily
Boston is scuffling a little bit too so we aren't falling too far behind. Our rotation is a fucking joke right now.

You're right the rotation's a joke
unfortunately the joke is on us.

Another lucky aspect I guess is that this should remind everyone espeically Cashman, that Pavano cannot be counted on. If the Yankees ever get two good starts out of him Cashman should immediately trade him for whatever he can.

Wow,
People were on the site earlier in the week already forgiving Pavano.  The guy is a whimp.
Great Success!

I remain undecided on Pavano
I think he's kinda a head case though. On another site people were defending his time out, saying that he had legitimate injuries. Maybe so, but I never got the feeling that he was all that broke up about not playing.

Maybe that's like trying to judge whether or not someone's lying based on body language, but there was something not right about the way he's behaved during the past two years.

18 Starts in 3 years
they may need to move him to the bullpen.

while he doesn't bring the same heat, it reminds me of various starters like john smoltz and rob nenn, who couldn't stay healthy as a starter.

Smoltz
was moved into the bullpen more for a need as a closer
Great Success!

Dude missed a lot of time
I'm actually surprised he wasn't sore after his first outing.
