A-ROD MVP??
But seriously I am a little shocked it was not unanimous.. seems the most open and shut case in years.

even more "shocking"
The only two first-place votes that didn't go to Rodriguez were from Tom Gage of The Detroit News and Jim Hawkins of The Oakland Press in Pontiac, Mich.
Really guys?

It's funny
Frankly, I try not to think about the postseason awards, Jeter's snub last year was the final straw.

You are on crack.
A-Rod is a guy who plays hard every fucking day, and who puts up numbers that none of can even dream about, and that is a good thing for the Yankees. -- AND FOR THE LAST TIME: The Yankees did not lose this year in the playoffs because of A-Rod. You couldn't be more clutch than he was this year- in fact you can argue that Yanks wouldn't have sniffed the playoffs this if not for A-Rod.
A-Rod even stated yesterday that he would turn in his MVPs for a ring, and I believe him. He desperately wants to win a championship, and to win one for New York. That's a big reason why he is staying here. A lot of teams may have been able to foot the bill of his contract, but none of them could do that and field a team that has a chance to win every year. I don't get how you can be a Yankee fan and not want A-Rod to succeed.

"Clutch"
2 outs, RISP: .318/.448/.776
Late & Close: .357/.439/.686
Tie Game: .276/.399/.577
w/in 1 run: .316/.419/.684
w/in 2 runs: .332/.436/.698
9th Inning: .452/.549/.1.095; 8HR, 21RBI
7-9 Inning: .356/.467/.706; 16HR, 42RBI
I'd prefer to judge him over 162 games than the 4 he played in October. I hate Arod the human being, but I have a man-crush on Arod the baseball player.
