Joe Torre to become new Dodger manager!

The Journal News has learned."

The Journal News is reporting that Joe Torre will be hired as manager of the Dodgers. The announcement could come as soon as today.''

Star-divide

Mattingly will probably go with him. Hell he might just bring along Mo, Po and Pettitte. It will be tough to hate the Dodgers after this.

From one crazy owner to another
Frank McCourt has an incredible knack for doing everything Bill Plaschke tells him to do. You'd think that after the insanity in the Bronx, Torre would want to work for a hands-off owner.

Little just resigned so it looks like St. Joe
may be wearing Dodger Blue.

Bad move for Joe
I have a feeling the Hollywood honeymoon won't last long. Torre without the Yankees was very average. He's getting a team that at best, is very mediocre. Here's what I think is gonna' happen:

They get off to a fast start, but by June the pen is tired. By July the wheels are falling off, and come August Joe is wishing he stayed in Westchester County playing with his daughter.

The Torre signing
is just a distraction from the inevitable bad moves that Ned Colletti will make during the offseason.

Here's hoping
our "braintrust" won't be making any bad moves, either.
