A serious question about Carl Pavano...

"Igawa will join Pettitte, Chien-Ming Wang, Mike Mussina, Randy Johnson and Carl Pavano as starters on the Yankees, with Igawa and Pavano likely to battle for the fifth starter's spot. Johnson is recovering from back surgery, so both pitchers could open the year in the rotation if the Big Unit isn't ready by Opening Day."

Something jumped out at me from this paragraph. It says "with Igawa and Pavano likely to battle for the fifth starter's spot. "

Star-divide

Is this true? Has anyone actually said that Carl Pavano is healthy and will start Spring Training on time? I am serious here. Is he no longer rehabbing something? Will it need to be a new injury that keeps him out of the lineup?

Apparently
He is working out on a new program in Arizona and not necessarily rehabbing any particular injury. The ass bruise is all healed up and I guess his pulled ovary is healed too.

I'm not sure...
I also heard (and I guess this is someone clearly making excuses for Carlie without saying he's suffering from vaginitis) that one of his legs was shorter than the other and that it affected his gait. Either way the link is below if you're interested but they're saying it caused a "hip dysfunction" and lead to more injuries. The article says that his legs are now equal in size and that he is just doing core strengthening so I guess he's no longer nursing an injury.

PS I'm not sure if there's a better way to link articles but there you go

Now I know who to picture when I hear this song:
"Dont know much about dancin
Thats why I got this song
One of my legs is shorter than the other
n both my feets too long
course now right along with em
I got no natural rhythm
But I go dancin every night
Hopin one day I might get it right
Im a dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool
I hear that beat; I jump outa my seat,
But I cant compete, cause Im a
Dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool"

Hypothetically...
I'm off in fantasy land here, but say that giving him a longer leg suddenly makes him the pitcher he was in 2004- pitches 200+ innings, 15+ wins, ERA under 4. Do fans forgive him?  His teammates?

Of course they will
Especially since the fans will be distracted by Miguel Cairo chasing down Bonds' record of 73 home runs.

Well...
Isn't Kevorkian getting out of jail this week? One visit from him would save the Yanks 23M!
