Yankees food drive this Friday

The Yankees are having one of their annual drives.  There have been toy drives in past winters, this one is a food drive (maybe they always do both).  They are taking donations of 25 pounds of food and giving a free pass for tickets in exchange, this Friday from 9-4 at the stadium.

Anyway, I've done the toy drive in the past and for stuff that costs you 10-15 bucks you get a pass you can exchange for four tier seats at a non-premium, weeknight game.  I combined this with a purchase one year and took ten people to the game on my birthday.  You have to exchange the pass for tickets at the stadium and usually you have to do it fairly early in the year even if the tickets are for any time in the regular season.

I'm not sure I'm doing this one, but I have my Yankees teddy bear because of a food drive that I participated in there a couple years back.

Here's the link to the page on the Yankees site.

Hopefully
Chris Britton isn't one of the players who shows up so some of that food actually makes it to those in need.

Oh man
You can't lay off the sarcasm, ever can you.  But hey I relate, I'm not sarcastic in type but out of my actual mouth I am pretty bad.

They don't have any players there at all, just staff people.  But you knew that.

You have a good heart, Greenfuzz
and I have a dirty mind!

I was reading too fast, I for a split second, I thought you wrote "I have my Yankees teddy on..."

needless to say, the imagined structure disagreement, caused to me to stop and push rewind and hit ..s·l·o·w··m·o

Good pitching will always stop good hitting and vice-versa.

ha ha
no really I didn't go this year.  I had too much work on Friday to cut out to the BX for a long lunch and food is heavier than toys for kids.  But maybe someone else here would have benefited from doing the drive.

As for Yankees lingerie, I'm sure I would wear it if they made it and I had it, but not a teddy, those are stupid.
