Open Thread: Game 33-Yanks vs Mariners

Will Randy make it three in a row? Have the Baseball Gods finally smiled upon us?
I think the tide has turned. When A-Rod caught that hump back liner in the second inning and helped Kevin Brown get out of a bases loaded and no outs situation, my crystal ball became alive with Psychic energy and the evil curse that has jinxed the Bombers is coming to an end.
Usually Brown would have given up 5 runs to a single A team on that day in a New York hot second but no...its over.
I know we have a pretty big hill to climb, but fear not! The Crystal Ball has spoken.

I hope that the tide has turned...
This was another good game--Randy was good and Mo finally got a chance to finish a game.
But at the risk of becoming a broken record, I have to say that the Giambi/Cano tandem has got to go.
